The new, more attractive form of Zagle.com.pl water sports portal

Advanced sailors and beginners alike may now visit the new version of Zagle.com.pl, created especially for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The website owner, MURATOR S.A., introduced graphic layout changes and enhanced its functionality adding social networking features.

The new Zagle.com.pl project was created by Zjednoczenie.com interactive agency. Applications and graphic layout implementation was performed by Internet Projects and IT Department of MURATOR S.A.

Besides new graphic solutions and functions, the social networking feature seems important. Internet users can comment on articles, upload information on sailing events in Poland and abroad. Also, a new element is a Log Book containing articles by Waldemar Heflich, " ¯agle" magazine editor in chief, ("Z wiatrem i pod wiatr" column) and Mateusz Kusznierewicz, who has published for "¯agle" for ten years.

Zagle.com.pl water sports portal is a reach source of knowledge concerning sailing, history of the most important boat races, as well as people connected with the sport. The portal is directed not only to professional sailors but also to those starting their sailing adventure, for whom "Sailing basics" section was created. You can find there practical information: where, on what, in what to sail, as well as a sailing phrases dictionary. A guide for young sailors entitled "Ja¶ Optymista" edited by "¯agle" journalist Dominik ¯ycki, is also a new feature. ¯ycki and Kusznierewicz have won the World Champion  title in the Star Class. Seweryn Czarnocki provides illustrations for"Ja¶ Optymista" .
Those going on inland and sea yacht trips will find information concerning ports and marinas they intend to visit, sailing directions and emergency services location.
