Warsaw Sailing Week - the biggest inland sailing event held for the sixth time at the Zegrze Reservoir

"¯agle" magazine holds the Warsaw Sailing Weekend - one of the biggest inland sailing events in Poland. Warsaw Sailing Weekend Finals will take place next weekend 13-14 September at the Zegrze Reservoir.

Adults and younger water sports lovers are welcome at the event taking place in Nieporêt - Pilawa Port and Nieporêt Yacht Port from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sailors will compete in the Cabin Yacht Grand Polish Cup Final 2008 and the following boat races: Warsaw Cabin Yachts and Omega Open, "¯agle" Cup, Masovia Province Marshal Cup, WTW Chairman Cup and Polish Match Tour. The youngest sailors will take part in "Nivea B³êkitne ¯agle" boat race.

Additional events include "Jacht dla Ciebie" (Yacht for You) yacht exhibition with popularity contest for the most beautiful yacht - new and used. Pirate amusement park will be  created especially for children. Numerous stands of exhibitors connected with water and sailing will be set up. Several competitions and games will be organized throughout the whole sailing event. Restaurants and outdoor beer stands will cater to the event participants.

Warsaw Sailing Weekend (Warszawski Tydzieñ ¯eglarski) - sixth edition officially open on September 6 this year - draws from rich experience of European sailing weeks and is and extraordinary event: it unites people connected with water (i.e. sailors, scuba divers, anglers, lifeguards) and water sports lovers as well as everyone who likes to spend time by the river, lake or sea. It is an event for people of every age, each year frequented by more and more inhabitants of Warsaw and Masovia region.
