"Architektura-murator" covers included in one of the most important collections in Poland

The Poznañ National Museum decided to include this year's "Architektura-murator" covers in its collection. The covers designed by young Polish graphic artists are presented in the form of posters and are.

Anna Grabowska-Konwent of the Poznañ National Museum Poster and Design Gallery  justifying the Management's decision wrote:
"We were glad to hear that posters by young Polish graphic designers will appear on the covers of "Architektura-murator". The above is a come back to very good tradition in design, when covers of magazines such as "Ty i Ja", "Polska", "Projekt" were designed by Polish artists, often masters in the art of poster design, like Roman Cie¶lewicz, Jan Lenica, Henryk Tomaszewski, Franciszek Starowieyski, Hubert Hilscher to name a few. (...) The covers will be included in our collection  and in this way will become the part of one of the most important art collections in the country."

"Architektura-murator" editorial staff invited the following graphic designers to create the covers in 2008: Joanna Górska and Jerzy Skakun, Pawe³ Przyby³a, Grzegorz Laszuk, Kuba Sowiñski, Ma³gorzata Gurowska and Two¿ywo group. Covers of "Architektura-murator" were awarded in the Grand Front Press Publishers Chamber competition: in 2006 and  2005 in the Professional Magazine category, 2nd and 3rd prize in 2003 in the Subject-specific Magazine category and 3rd prize in 2002. In 2007 the covers of the magazine formed a gallery of the young Polish photography.
