• The subject of the competition, different in every edition, always involves city and architectural forms. It is no longer only promoted in "Architektura-murator" monthly, but also at universities in cooperation with the people conducting design classes. In many cases the competition subject is put forward by lecturers as a topic for a semester project.

• Over 200 designs are submitted for every edition. The record, (300 designs), was beaten during the 7th edition, entitled "The City and its History".
• Up to the present, almost 1300 students of all the design schools in Poland have taken part in the competition. Around 200 people - students and scholars - participate in the final ceremony of each edition.
• The "Architektura-murator" student competition is one of the most popular competitions for students in Poland. It is also the only one which is recurring and in which students are not obliged to use particular solutions or materials, the only criterion being creativity and imagination.

The action's aim

• Creating a possibility for the development and presentation of skills for students from architecture, landscape architecture, interior architecture and industrial design departments. Furthermore, the competition promotes good examples of design - successful small architectural forms within the context of the city.

Konkurs Studencki (Student Competition)

One of the most popular competitions in Poland for students of all Polish design schools. Its subject, different in every edition, always involves city and architectural forms. The only recurring competition for students in the country.

Konkurs ¯ycie w Architekturze (The Life in Architecture Competition)

A competition with a 10-year tradition, aiming to promote good urban architecture. Its other goal is improving the architectural consciousness of city dwellers and drawing attention to the role and meaning of architecture in the life of agglomerations.

An exhibition presenting the 20 best buildings - icons of architecture built in Poland after 1989. It was prepared by "Architektura-murator" monthly and the Promotions Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
